Our largest customers told us that seeing live vehicle charging status laid out on a floorplan or site map would help them spot issues faster and explain them more easily to site operators.
Why depot views matter
When you're managing a large charging depot, abstract lists and tables only go so far. What operators want is a spatial view that mirrors what they see when they walk the floor.
With the depot view designer, operators can map charger positions to match the real-world layout, see live charging status across the entire depot at a glance with color-coded indicators, spot issues without scrolling through data tables, and share intuitive status views with site staff who need quick visual context.
Built by customer demand
This feature was born directly from customer feedback. Our largest fleet customers told us that spatial awareness was key to efficient depot operations, and we listened. Transit agencies were especially vocal. When you're managing a depot with 50+ chargers and buses coming and going throughout the day, a spatial view becomes a daily-driver tool.
From data to action
The depot view pairs with the rest of Flipturn's operational tooling. When Flip AI, our AI charging operations agent, flags an issue in a morning health report, operators can pull up the depot view to see exactly where that charger is physically located.
