Today, I’m excited to announce that Flipturn has signed a definitive agreement to join Einride, a pioneer in electric and autonomous freight technology.
Flipturn’s leading charging and energy management platform will bring powerful capabilities to Einride’s technology ecosystem, and when paired with Einride’s Saga AI, will create the industry’s first fully-integrated electric freight technology stack. Our product and team will continue as-is in the new combined organization, now with even more resources to help our customers tackle the challenges of electrification.
Sashko and I founded Flipturn in 2022 with the mission to accelerate transportation electrification. Over the past four years, we’ve built an industry-leading EV charging and energy management solution that tackles some of the industry’s most challenging infrastructure problems. We’ve also had the privilege of working with an incredible set of customers, including Fortune 500 companies and some of the largest autonomous, heavy-duty, last-mile, refuse, and transit fleets in North America, helping them forge the path forward on electrification. Today, our technology manages over 250 megawatts of charging, saving our customers millions in energy costs and keeping their operations reliable.
When Sashko and I began to discuss our joint vision with Einride, we saw an immediate fit. Both companies share a mission to accelerate transportation electrification, and both see technology as a key unlock. Joining Einride adds fuel to Flipturn’s product and mission: being part of a larger, global company brings more resources to deliver an even better charging experience, as well as a wider global reach to support customers around the world.
