Zeem Solutions is one of the first and largest shared depot charging providers in the US. Their model is full-service: customers drop their vehicles at a Zeem lot, and Zeem takes care of the charging. The end-of-month scramble

Accurate invoicing is core to Zeem's business. Its invoices combine energy delivered and vehicle miles, so odometer readings sit on every line. Attendants enter those readings by hand across thousands of sessions a month, 24/7, for dozens of customer fleets. At that volume, some come through blank or out of sequence.

Zeem's team was already on top of it. Every month, before invoices went out, the site manager exported and sorted the entire session history by hand to reconcile every entry. The constraint was timing, not diligence: the work could only happen at month end, alongside everything else competing for attention, and it consumed about two days.

What Flip AI does

Flipturn worked closely with Zeem operations leadership, Rafael Barraza and Roger Alvarez, to define a workflow that would give them and the team more time during shifts and at the end of every billing cycle. The cadence and timing came from Rafael, described in plain English.

Rather than relying on manual reviews, Flip AI now monitors odometer entries continuously. Three times a day, 20 minutes before each shift ends, Flip AI sends a shift-close odometer audit to the attendants on shift and to site leadership. It flags blank and out-of-sequence readings and links each one straight to the session, so completing an entry takes a single click.

At month end, Flip AI rolls that shift-level activity into a flagged-versus-completed view for leadership, the audit trail the site manager used to build by hand.

 

Results

The manual daily and month-end reviews are gone, returning two days a month to Rafael and his team. Odometer data is already reconciled by the time the billing window opens, and accuracy has improved to 99.5%.

Just under half of shift audits surface an entry that needs further inspection, and each one gets handled before that shift ends rather than arriving as a single pile on the first of the month. The reports have also moved attention earlier: the team knows the check is coming at shift close, so mileage entries stay top of mind while servicing vehicles on the lot.
